Nic Sampson is a comedian, actor, and writer from New Zealand (post-apocalyptic bolthole for the rich), currently living in London (filming location for Paddington 2).

Nic was a co-writer on Rose Matafeo's Starstruck (BBC3, HBO Max) and played Steve in the show.

​Nic is known for playing D.C. Sam Breen in New Zealand murder mystery series The Brokenwood Mysteries (UKTV Drama, Acorn, TVNZ). He also co-wrote three episodes (The Power Of Steam, Dog Day Morning, Four Fires And A Funeral).

​Nic also played Chip Thorn the Yellow Power Ranger in Power Rangers Mystic Force (Disney) and has appeared in Go Girls, Step Dave, Auckland Daze, and Flat3.

Nic was a writer and performer on NZ sketch series Funny Girls and topical comedy show Jono and Ben.  He is a co-creator of kiwi sitcom ​Golden Boy.

Nic is part of Auckland improv collective Snort who have been selling out weekly shows at Basement Theatre since 2013.
